The Best Hotels and Ammenities: Where You Need to Stay

Traveling across America can be an adventure like none other, and can provide thousands of memories to cherish, especially if one stays at places that one will love. Staying at great hotels can make for an excellent vacation all by itself, aside from anything else. Many hotels offer such top-notch amenities that one will have a fun and exciting time while staying on the premises and may feel no compulsion to leave. These hotels are a great balance of relaxation, fun, and good things to eat. The traveler will enjoy their stay so much at some hotels that they will want to recommend it to others, and some of the following hotels are those that one just must stay at to experience the best in vacationing that can be found in the country.
First is the Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Big Island in Hawaii. This is truly a spectacular sight, even from the moment one walks in the door. There is a moat that runs around the inside of the huge resort, and boats will take travelers from one part of the resort to the other; the stops include the main lobby, a riverside bar, and the beachfront. If one does not want to use the water, there is also a train that runs the same basic path, getting people from their rooms to the fun in the sun and back again. There are many paths that are beautiful to walk, as they wind their way through pools, stone statues, exotic animals, and lush plant life. At one point, the path crosses a swinging wood-and-rope bridge over a pool with a sandy bottom to reach a small zoo with native animals. A dolphin pool sits at the heart of it all, right next to a waterfall that one can walk behind, and whales can often be seen in the ocean waters near the golf course as they surface for air.
Now, if one does not have the money or desire to stay at a place as elaborate as the Hilton, there are a great many smaller hotels that offer a fun experience as well, and for less money. One of these, the Great Wolf Lodge, has eleven locations all across the country, so one should be able to find a lodge near to where they want to go on their travels. The Great Wolf Lodge is an indoor waterpark resort, with spiraling slides and towering stairways. The pools are vast and clean and this location is perfect for children, who will love to run and play in the water. Instead of staying near a waterpark and having to drive each day, one can just stay at the Great Wolf Lodge. With large bedrooms and suites, great options for food, and more fun than can be had in one vacation, the Great Wolf Lodge is an ideal destination.
Third, for one of the best hotels out there for a more alpine-feeling vacation, one should be sure to check out the Triple Creek Ranch in Darby, Montana. Situated in the beautiful Bitterroot Mountains, the hotel/resort consists of a number of log cabins that just make you want to sit by the fire -- they are outfitted with real wood-burning stoves -- and relax. The cabins also have hot tubs and blankets that have been woven by the local population, which gives the hotel a very authentic and cozy atmosphere. With helicopter rides and wine tasting, this hotel has something for everyone to enjoy.
If one's budget is not up to the above hotels, there are many other places that also offer great service and a great experience. The Hilton Village listed first is part of the chain of Hilton hotels, for example, and they all offer plush suites and rooms, along with excellent room service. Many offer pools and hot tubs that, while not being in Hawaii, are still a wonderful way to use the water to relax. The Marriott hotels are much in the same fashion. While their resorts are extravagant and breathtaking, their simpler hotels in nearly all major cities are great for the traveler who is either not staying for long or wants to leave with more in their wallet. All of these options promise a trip to remember.
